It is possible, although that's called piracy. Unlike the rest of the world, you can get thrown into jail for life in your country for such an offense. I'm sure the Aryan Brotherhood, Mexican druglords, Crips and rapists there are able to relate.
Synergy just makes it possible for you to play the HL2 campaign with other players. How the fuck would you be able to play a campaign if you don't even have the campaign data? xD
That's why I asked, I was told there is a way by taking Hl2 files and doing crazy crap with them but I'd rather not.
