I find most YouTube comments to be okay or useful. There's only a small minority of idiots, and they get downvoted. What I find more concerning is that authors can individually delete comments. That creates an orwellian atmosphere on some video's.
Or even worse; when uploaders disable comments and ratings, because they know their video sucks, but don't have the balls to take any criticism for it.
Yeah, I see that a lot. On the other hand, I understand that if someone wants to give his opinion, and he doesn't care that the internet doesn't like it, he disables comments/ratings. That way you can express your feelings, tell them how high your Rage-O-Meter is, without receiving any feedback, awesome! I wouldn't care for your response either if I fired a huge shitload of opinions at you. Because I am right, and you're wrong.

I'd definitely drive through them too, anyone would. It's the same as where a traffic light is broken, and it stays on red all day. If you stand still for more than five minutes for the light to turn, you're an idiot.
