It's 2022 and I don't know if anyone still watches the servers for this game, but it would appear the Steamboats server has lost interactivity with the map. You can remove clothing that you spawn woth still, and Tab and MFK lists still work, but things like opening a door cannot be performed.
Ah yes, that happens sporadically. I reset the server, it'll work fine now. Hit me or another staff member up on Steam when this happens again, we'll fix it immediately.
