Hey guys, I found out that you can play DOOM3 cooperatively over the interwebz. So I'm installing DOOM3 now and the DOOM3 Last Man Standing coop mod. Read the FAQ on their website carefully to make sure your copy works tonight. You need a specific version to make the mod compatible, read the FAQ for more info. Right now there's room for 4 players. Doomed participants: - GC - J0ttem - Refalm - ? Mastermind_EJ UPDATE: Apparently you need a valid key to play online, so believe it or not, we're gonna have to use Hamachi. I'm gonna make some more tests. I'll keep you updated. UPDATE: It works. I'm playing with J0ttem right now. This is what you have to do: 1. Install DOOM3. 2. Update to 1.3.1 3. Apply a NoCD crack for 1.3.1 4. Install the coop mod 5. Install/start Hamachi 6. Join network "tuutchips" with password "flesjebier" 7. Start the mod (either by the .bat file or switch to the mod ingame) 8. Join by IP (Appeltaart's IP) 9. Done. See you on Mars.
Another bump, with a little review. I think I can speak for both of us when I say J0ttem and I had great fun playing DOOM3 cooperatively. We might continue tomorrow if my pc's available. If you want to join us, be sure to install all the shizzle and have it working before playing. We will do this more often! And now it's time for my little nap. My pc's gonna get his first semi-anual check-up tomorrow, so all wish my pc good luck! 8) (Yes, even PC's have to go to the vet, especially watercooled PC's)
